Hello, I'm Little b.
Granted, most people call me Lily, Lil, or Little b (or if I'm in trouble, Lilyana from my mom). I am a Vermonter born and raised for the first ten years of my life before I found myself in Columbus, Ohio.
If you don't find me at the rink, I am probably at home with a book. or watching a movie, or editing. If I am at the rink, however, you best believe I will have a camera in my hands, taking pictures or catching up with people from my childhood. Over the years, the rink has become my second home, followed closely by the minivan we would travel to all the different rinks in. I have, at this point in my life, been to Arizona, Colorado, Michigan, and Indiana, to name a few.
I don't fully remember the first time I picked up a camera, but I do remember always loving photography, living most of my childhood in front of a camera (thanks to Uncle Jason), and taking pictures always came as second nature to me. And when Jonah decided he wanted to play hockey, bringing my camera on the road with me just made the most sense.
I am a lover of music and reading. I am in a band with people I adore, and I play the ukulele. My favorite movie is Howl's Moving Castle, even though I grew up on My Neighbor Totoro and Ponyo. My dad used to read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings to my brother and me before bed.
I am a current Otterbein University student. Class of 2028 for the Education department, with my goal to become a high school teacher. Not only do I want to photograph the next generation, but I really wanna teach them about English too. My favorite generation of Literature being the Gothic American Period (love a good Po).
But above all else, I am a lover. Of most things on this planet. My dogs, David and Jack. My finace, who is always supporting from afar. My family, my friends, my sorority.
